  • Proactive acquisition of national and international corporate and leisure clients, including contract negotiations and closures.
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of sales blitzes, client events, and site tours, as well as participation in national and international trade fairs.
  • Increasing the visibility of Mercure Zürich City through active outreach, sales calls, and business trips domestically and abroad.
  • Networking and active engagement with tourism clients and representatives of national tourism associations (e.g., Zürich Tourism).
  • Planning and management of online activities (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Responsibility for maintaining and monitoring sales activities in the PMS.
  • Preparation and analysis of statistics and reports.
  • Taking on Manager on Duty responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.

What You Bring!

  • Professional training in the hospitality industry, completion of a hotel management school, or further education in sales.
  • At least two years of professional experience in proactive sales, preferably in the Zurich hotel market.
  • Excellent oral and written German skills as well as very good English skills.
  • Proactive and independent working style, with the ability to think in a networked and entrepreneurial manner.
  • Communicative and outgoing personality with a passion for working with people.
  • Consistent customer and service orientation.
